CashFloat
Here at Little Loans, we’re proud to work with a range of responsible, customer-focused lenders. One such company that we’re pleased to have on our panel is CashFloat.
Who is CashFloat?
Established in 2014, CashFloat is a direct lender offering both payday and short-term personal loans.
CashFloat say that they opened their doors because they wanted to help ‘people with bad credit scores who find it hard to get hold of a loan’.
Is CashFloat regulated?
CashFloat is a trading name of Western Circle Ltd. They are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and you can view their profile on the FCA register here.

How can I apply for a CashFloat loan?
- Choose the type of loan you’d like, then select how much money you need to borrow, and for how long.
- Fill in CashFloat’s online application form.
- Following affordability and credit checks, you could receive your decision in 30 minutes, although sometimes you might not hear until the following working day.
- If successful, your money could be sent the same day your application is approved.*
*The time it takes for the money to show as available in your account will depend on your bank’s policies and procedures, such as if they accept Faster Payments.
Can I top up my CashFloat loan?
Loan top-ups are not something CashFloat offer. Borrowers are also only able to take out one CashFloat loan at a time, although previous CashFloat customers are welcome to reapply for a new loan if their previous one has been repaid in full.
It’s important to remember being a repeat customer does not guarantee that you’ll be accepted for a new loan, and you’ll still need to undergo the same affordability and credit checks.
Can I repay my CashFloat loan early?
Yes, you can – and CashFloat do not charge any fees for doing so.
What happens if I miss a repayment?
If you miss a repayment, CashFloat will send you a text and email. They will also try to call you. If no contact has been made and the payment is still outstanding, a £15 late fee will be added to your balance the day after the repayment date.
Your balance will also continue to accrue interest, up to the daily capped limit.
CashFloat urge borrowers to contact them as soon as they realise that they might miss a repayment. While this may feel daunting, CashFloat will be able to talk through your situation with you.
I used Little Loans to search for a loan and was matched with CashFloat. Who should I contact if I have a question?

We can help with any queries you might have about your initial eligibility check and loan search conducted through our website; however, any questions relating to your journey from there on in will need to be directed towards the lender.
